Your new company
This international financier, developer and operator of solar power systems focuses in the remote regions of Japan. With the mission is to shape the future of the energy industry, they are a dynamic team that pulls from all areas of expertise across business, arts and sciences.
Your new role
You'll effectively work hands directly with the head of legal and the team, performing various legal task such as providing legal advice and guidance, managing contractual obligations, and review legal contracts. You'll be giving counsel to Senior Management, executives and other stakeholders applicable to the businesses. Communicate and negotiate with extern parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority, etc.), creating relations of trust.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previously experience in a similar role within legal will lead to your success, as well as:
* Bengoshi or Foreign Bar Qualification overseas
* 5 years legal experience/ training
* Ideally fluent in English & Japanese (JLPT N2)
* Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or project finance for solar energy is a plus
