A Finance Manager position is now available at a leading life science company.Responsibilities:
* Analyse and review financial information, including the cash flow, forecasts and future trends
* Partner with the global controllers to handle ongoing activities
* Ensure all tasks and responsibilities of accounts in Japan are coordinated and complete
* Lead annual auditing with external auditors
* Manage annual budget, forecasting and other key processes at a local level
* Explore opportunities of business optimisation and cost reduction
* Prepare and deliver reports, including notification of credit, quote specification and breakdown of payments received for local office activities
* Take part in tax return preparation
* Handle direct -in-coming calls and emails from clients
* Maintain strong customer relations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above, ideally in accounting, business or similar domains
* 5+ years of work experience in accounting
* 2+ years of office administration experience in a robust multicultural work environment
* Background in HRM, pharmaceutical association, medical education or healthcare is a plus
* General ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable skills
* Ability to communicate and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
* Fluent level English (other language proficiency is welcomed)
