An industry leader in capital markets is looking for a Sr. Compliance Officer.Responsibilities:
* Monitor trade and communication surveillance
* Assist in KYC procedures, regulatory filings, and compliance testing
* Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards
* Conduct regulatory and compliance training
* Provide counselling to local management
* Prepare regulatory reports and administer filing of licences
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in securities or asset management
* Expertise in regulatory standards, international finance reporting standards, legal issues, local stock exchange laws and corporate legislation
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience in legal, finance or IT area is preferred
* Previous experience in an international broker is advantageous
* Native level Japanese; business level English
