A successful footwear and apparel company is searching for a Merchandise Planner.Responsibilities:
* Work with merchandisers and demand planners to purchase products
* Develop a specialised merchandising strategy that supports financial and product opportunities
* Coordinate business planning with key stakeholders
* Share information with site producers and online merchandisers regarding top seller sales and key trends
* Evaluate historical data and current trends to find risks and opportunities
* Share financial results to managers and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
* 3+ years of experience in merchandising planning, inventory management, purchasing, or finance in the retail industry
* Excellent statistical analysis skills
* Microsoft Excel proficiency
* Experience in forecasting is a plus
* Conversational level written and spoken English
