- A challenging Finance Manager role has emerged at a global software vendor. The candidate selected for this position will be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience. You will perform such diverse tasks as reviewing contracts, communicating closely with corporate HQ, and providing assessments on growth prospects in the region.

Responsibilities:
* Provide deal structuring support and revenue recognition guidance, partnering with the business by providing first line revenue recognition support
* Perform pre-emptive contract reviews to identify areas that need revenue recognition
* Oversee management reporting and analysis, providing local management with P&L guidance
* Assist both local and corporate management with strategic planning to take the Japan business to a higher growth level
* Provide oversight and control over bank accounts to ensure disbursements are made according to policy
* Handle all local tax issues
Requirements:
* A qualified accountant (Japan) with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience
* Experience working at a multinational company
* Revenue recognition understanding; experience negotiating revenue recognition and commercial clauses for customer and 3rd party agreements an advantage
* A strong customer focus
* Strong understanding of US GAAP
