- An automotive supplier is seeking an experienced professional to join them as Finance Controller. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Accounting, you will implement and maintain a system of internal controls that ensure all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with financial policies, both internal and external.

Responsibilities:
* Ensure that credit risk is balanced with business objectives, targets are met, and that only valid claims with proper management authorization are paid
* Oversee general accounting function and staff, including inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, and balance sheet management
* Coordinate and oversee activities relative to internal control documentation and testing and segregation of duties
* Provide technical accounting guidance and support to staff members
* Ensure that the accounting department is staffed with qualified financial personnel capable of meeting the objectives of the accounting department
Requirements:
* 5-10 years of combined public accounting and private industry accounting experience
* Prior management experience required
* Demonstrated ability to form, lead, and develop high-performing teams
* Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
* Experience analyzing business performance and developing financial plans within a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of budget, internal controls, and financial reporting required
* Excellent communication and leadership skills essential
