A widely respected media company is looking to hire a Senior Attorney.Responsibilities:
* Create and assess contracts
* Handle memoranda and correspondence
* Supervise external counsel
* Conduct negotiations for relevant local agreements
* Provide advice to business leaders on local legislative issues
* Partner with legal colleagues to provide legal assistance to the local business
Requirements:
* Valid law degree (JD, LLB, LLM, etc.)
* 8+ years of professional law experience in a law firm or law function of a multinational company, with a focus on corporate, commercial, and IP matters
* Ability to practice law in Japan or an English-speaking area
* Experience handling issues regarding local commercial, corporate, and intellectual property legislation
* Experience in business practices common to the local entertainment industry
* Native level Japanese; English proficiency
