A large software organisation is looking to hire a Technical Support Specialist.Responsibilities:
* Carry out technical support activities through phone, e-mail, as well as in-field services
* Respond to technical inquiries, troubleshoot problems, recommend solutions, and conduct follow-up activities
* Prepare solutions to satisfy customer needs
* Adhere to team guidelines for product group engagement
* Prepare documentation for all technical inquiries and customer reported problems
* Support project troubleshooting, design, and implementation activities
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar
* 5+ years of technical support experience
* Understanding of computer OS
* Understanding of IP-based WAN/LAN networks is a plus
* Understanding of Windows and Linux OS is a plus
* Japanese and English proficiency (written and spoken)
