A global biotechnology company is searching for a candidate for the position of the Accounting Manager.Responsibilities:
* Lead accounting processes and T&E accounting processes
* Own accounts payable process to ensure accurate and timely accounting and report to stakeholders
* Take leadership to establish accounting process for new transactions
* Coordinate with internal/ external auditors and other accounting members to ensure smooth audit process
* Lead kaizen projects to improve efficiency of accounts payable, T&E, intercompany processes
* Coach and develop team members to build a cohesive, high-performance team
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
* USCPA or similar qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in accounting roles, 2+ years experience as a people manager
* Business level proficiency in both English and Japanese
* Experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) and analytical tools (Hyperion) is a plus
