A large manufacturing company is looking for a new Executive Procurement Director.Responsibilities:
* Create and implement short term and long term logistics programs, strategies, and policies for the APAC region which align with the company's global strategy
* Cooperate with the finance team to meet the company's saving goals
* Lead the team of global managers, regional managers, and other professionals to solve complex logistics problems
* Maintain good relationships with suppliers and upper management to ensure the smooth integration of the supply chain at the business unit level
* Work with the supplier quality assurance team to promote improvements in quality
* Identify new opportunities to attain new suppliers and opportunities for business growth
* Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulation and communicate important changes that affect supply chain management
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business with a post graduate degree in a supply chain related field
* Regional, multicultural management experience
* 15+ years of supply chain related experience with 10+ years in procurement
* Microsoft office proficiency (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
* Ability and willingness to travel
* High level proficiency in English and Chinese
