A multinational beauty and personal care goods company is looking for a PR/Communications Manager.Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a content-based PR strategy in Tokyo, Japan bringing the company to existing and new audiences
* Develop media relationships
* Run nation-wide PR campaigns from conception through execution
* With the marketing team and the sales teams, create, build and manage events such as product launches and promotions
* Support marketing and sales teams to generate coverage of all the company activities
* Integrate marketing and sales goals to develop press and communication strategies across multiple channels
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a relevant Liberal Arts discipline
* 5+ years' experience in PR (agency or in-house)
* Experience in consumer product PR, preferably with beauty or luxury goods
* Industry contacts and connections with editors and various media/press outlets
* Advanced level verbal and written fluency in Japanese
* Business level verbal and written proficiency in English
* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
