A widely respected R&D company is in need of an Accounting Supervisor.Responsibilities:
* Manage the accounting staff through deciding annual objectives, succession planning, and cross training
* Make sure book accounting entries are properly recorded on the general ledger
* Gain expertise of book accounting systems and assist with the migration to new systems
* Ensure tax reports adhere to tax compliance guidelines and are completed on-time
* Communicate with business partners to create new policies and procedures that fulfil changing business needs
* Conduct regular meetings with business units and business controllers to report and resolve issues
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or above in accounting (accounting qualification is a plus)
* 2+ years of supervisory experience
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
* Experience using major enterprise accounting systems (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc)
* Experience working in a medium to large company
* Strong knowledge of GAAP standards
