An international automotive supplier is searching for a Financial Controller to work under the Japan Managing Director.Responsibilities:
* Prepare 12-month detailed budget and 3-year mid-term planning for Japan
* Prepare "rest of the year" forecasts for BS, PL and cash flow
* Supervise the preparation of the monthly closing
* Support local internal audit, SOX-required documentation reviews in Japan
* Preparation and review of various tax packages and reporting
* Set local T&E guidelines and ensure compliance to them
* Lead the Japan IT team to evaluate the cost and benefits of system changes, changes to service providers
Requirements:
* Automotive experience preferable
* Knowledge in J GAAP and US GAAP accounting and tax compliance and reporting processes
* Proficiency in Hyperion Enterprise, QAD (or similar) ERP, Windows tools
* Business level English proficiency
