A respected financial services company is looking for a General Manager.Responsibilities:
* Manage the Japan office with a focus on distribution, sales, and customer service
* Develop and manage high performing sales plans and report performance to the CEO
* Handle distribution and sales issues by cooperating with other company offices
* Ensure high standards of governance and conduct reporting and communication with regulators as necessary
* Lead and develop the local team
Requirements:
* Experience in the financial services industry including experience in risk management and communicating with senior management at non-Japanese firms
* Strong local market knowledge for marketing and distribution, especially regarding distribution channels for investment products
* Knowledge of Japanese laws, regulations, and governance for investment security products
* Knowledge of the operations for investment administration and customer service
* Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
* Excellent English proficiency (TOEIC 800+)
