An international luxury sporting goods company is looking for a Section Manager to manage an accounting team.Responsibilities:
* Reconcile account balances and bank statements
* Analyze financial reports and forecasts
* Manage a team of accountants and junior accountants
* Ensure the accounting and controlling operations are in compliance with both Japan and US accounting principles, group policies, as well as local tax requirements
* Ensure the risk management strategy and relevant internal control procedure are moderate given the size of the business
* Oversee treasury and cash flow
Requirements:
* Expertise in Japan accounting/tax law and regulation and US-GAAP
* Competency with ERP (preferably SAP), Excel and PPT
* 10+ years' experience working for a multi-national company and/or an accounting & tax audit firm
* Business level verbal and written proficiency in English
* Good understanding of consumer marketing concepts
* Experience in high end/premium product distribution
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
