A telecommunications company is searching for a technical Support Engineer.Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st through 3rd level technical support for customer's and field technicians in regards to product installation, everyday use, and configuration
* Record technical notes and knowledgebase entries
* Collect information for escalation for complex issues
* Manage problems until resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout
* Collaborate effectively with development, sales, and implementation services teams
* Carry out ad-hoc responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
* Technical support experience
* Knowledge of networking
* Proficiency in Linux and Unix
* Proficiency in SQL is a plus
* Knowledge of clustered database architecture, MicroStrategy, Apache Hadoop, or Cloudera cluster management software is a plus
* Native level Japanese; Business level English
