A leading global manufacturing company is looking to hire a Commercial Director.Responsibilities:
* Perform general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions, and terminations
* Manage sales efforts for business unit or units
* Plan, direct, and coordinate all direct marketing efforts including marketing of products and services
* Develop and implement long-term sales and marketing strategies that are geared toward developing greater market share and profitability
* Lead improvements in the organization's capacity and capability at all levels to achieve long term business objectives, including talent acquisition, succession planning, development, and reward & recognition
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
* Extensive experience at the senior management level within a multinational organization in a related industry
* Demonstrated sales and marketing management success
* Native level Japanese; verbal and written English proficiency
