A leading Asian NPO is looking to hire an Agriculture Director to supervise, manage, and coordinate departmental operations.Responsibilities:
* Anticipate global developments that may have an impact on the agriculture and food sectors and develop initiatives to address them
* Initiate strategic planning and collaborate with other departmental directors in implementing strategies, monitoring program outcomes, and ensuring their alignment with the organization's strategic plan
* Lead in conceptualizing initiatives and programs in accordance with the needs and expectations of the organization
* Manage the formulation and preparation of various documents such as surveys, reports, and proposals
* Lead and manage all personnel and administrative affairs of the department
Requirements:
* Master's degree in an agriculture-related discipline; advanced degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or Economics also preferred
* 15+ years' experience in economic development/planning and/or productivity, including at least 5 years in a senior management role
* Knowledge of and experience in future food, smart farming, and agricultural transformation, especially digital farming
* Near-native level English
