A multinational video game developer is seeking a new HRBP. In this role, you will serve as a member of Japan Leadership Team.Responsibilities:
* Assist the senior management and other relevant internal teams to identify and implement people strategies to meet the overall business goals of the company
* Work on improving the organizational design, coaching and performance management methods
* Collaborate with and support HR leaders and teams across the Asia Pacific region, participate and lead talent initiatives and recruiting projects
* Support hiring of new staff by working with managers to define talent needs and ensuring positive candidate experiences throughout the interviewing process
* Organize and participate in employee engagement initiatives, review the outcomes and feedbacks for the development of action plans
* Address workplace issues and enforce compliance of the company's employment practices with local labor law and regulations
Requirements:
* Understanding of local employment law, local employment customs and practices
* 7+ years' experience as a HR business partner
* 8+ years' experience in HR, preferably in the high-tech or gaming industry
* Experience and skills in general HR functions including employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, resourcing, learning and development, change management and HRIS
