The role will serve as the head of Asset Management Operations for Japan reporting to the Head of Asset Management Operations in Asia to help define and drive strategy and execution and assist in overall management for Asset Management in Japan.

A multinational banking and financial services company has an open position for the Executive Director.Responsibilities:
* Redefine the organization's operation model to ensure and improve support, control and oversight and proactive risk management
* Ensure that vendors meet and exceed service level agreements
* Develop and manage business plan and meet financial goals
* Communicate with global and regional managers to establish consistency and best practices
* Lead the talent agenda, including resource planning, talent and performance management, professional skills development and diversity
Requirements:
* Experience in managing medium-size teams
* Knowledge of the Japanese institutional and funds business
* Advanced verbal and written proficiency in both Japanese and English
* Strong understanding of investment process, associated market practices and enterprise risk
