A leading international footwear and apparel company is seeking a Retail Merchandising Director with extensive buying experience. In this role you will oversee all aspects of merchandise selection and inventory procurement for the company's retail stores in Japan.
仕事内容
A leading international footwear and apparel company is seeking a Retail Merchandising Director with extensive buying experience.
Responsibilities:

* Work closely with the US merchandising & planning team to create compelling quarterly and seasonal assortment selections
* Manage and guide the local Buying & Allocations team for optimal product placement, localized in-store inventory needs, sales execution, and end of season stock elimination
* Develop assortment plans tailored to the Japan market
* Review assortment sell thru, pricing opportunities, and individual store results
* Lead weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales analysis review meetings to develop tactical actions that drive sales

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related discipline
* 5+ years' buying experience, preferably in footwear and/or apparel
* Strong knowledge of the retail landscape in Japan
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including PivotTable and VLOOKUP
* Advanced verbal and written proficiency in both English and Japanese
