Join one of the world's top chemical firms in the role of Tax Analyst.Responsibilities:
* Prepare and file tax returns for company's entities in Japan
* Attend tax audits and respond/resolve issues with local tax authorities
* Pursue tax saving opportunities and conduct research & analysis for improvements
* Perform tax accounting and reconciliation based on US/JP GAAP
* Collaborate with global tax teams regarding tax compliance and problem solving
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree, preferably Accounting, Law, Business Management or Economics
* 10+ years' experience in tax/corporate accounting in a public accounting or corporate finance/tax environment
* Ability to perform complex tax/accounting analysis and communicate results
* Excellent written & spoken Japanese, advanced English ability (TOEIC 800+)
* US/JP CPA, certified tax accountant, and bookkeeping level 1 is a plus
* Strong IT skills; experience with SAP, OneSource Tax software, Mahojin a plus
