A multinational logistics company is seeking a Solution Design Director with operational experience in a supply chain environment.Responsibilities:
* Direct internal team members in their efforts to provide information and content for the development of cost competitive and innovative solutions for customers
* Implement the organizational strategy through the use of adequate communications, structures, and procedure controls
* Challenge functional representatives on specific projects to ensure information provided for solution design is complete
* Monitor industry & business trends and network with business, governmental, and academic professionals to maintain a high degree of expertise in worldwide logistics issues
* Lead internal project reviews and answer technical questions
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in a supply chain-related discipline
* 5+ years' experience in a supply chain environment
* Operational experience as a plant manager or equivalent role
* Six Sigma experience at a black belt or equivalent level preferred
* Strong background in analytics and project management
