* A mining & construction company is recruiting for the position of Sales-Business Development Manager.
* Support the continued development and definition of the growth strategy in Japan
* Build relationships within the civil tunnelling construction industry, creating industry awareness of company products and expertise, particularly around electronic blasting systems (EBS)
* Coordinate product support and training resources to deliver product trials and drive market penetration
* Engage and manage relationships with key regulatory stakeholders, in conjunction with the commercial lead - Japan & Korea
* Ensure full compliance with safety, health, and environment obligations in relation to in-country activities, standards, and customer requirements
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering; further tertiary qualification in business, economics, finance, or equivalent field highly regarded
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal, customer, and regulatory stakeholders
* Proven sales and/or business development experience within either civil construction and/or mining sectors (drill and blast experience with knowledge of electronic blasting systems preferred)
* Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement
* Ability to orchestrate, manage, and drive complex business development and sales activities
