A large international automotive group is searching for an experienced purchasing professional to join them in the role of Buyer. In this position you will be the main contact for a set of suppliers, creating sourcing strategies and propositions as required.

A large international automotive group is searching for an experienced purchasing professional to join them in the role of Buyer.
Responsibilities:

* Act as the main contact person for a given set of suppliers
* Create and execute sourcing strategies for responsible commodities
* Analyse quotations, benchmark and propose suppliers for new parts
* Be a "driver" for continuous improvement and an advocate for competition

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree
* Professional experience in either purchasing, IT system implementation or contract management is an advantage
* Experience in a cross-functional working environment is a plus
* Fluent Japanese; business English
