- A global financial services company is seeking a candidate familiar with Japanese law to join them in a Legal Counsel position. Reporting to the Head of Legal, the candidate is expected to work closely with the two senior lawyers on the team and provide legal advice, oversee accounts and cash management, and manage facility agreements.

【1500万円～2000万円】Responsibilities:

＊Qualification in Japan preferred with 3-5 years' PQE; or a Japanese national with a common law qualification
* Provide legal advice, focusing on the financing business of the bank, including drafting and reviewing of related documentation
* Manage facility agreements and related security arrangements, including bilateral and syndicated financing, and project financing
* Oversee accounts and cash management
* Handle bank guarantees and master agreements negotiation for the bank, as well as other problematic originating from the activity of the bank
* Providing legal support for vendor agreements, privacy issues and technology and transversal group projects
Requirements:
* Sound knowledge of Japanese laws, regulations, and guidelines in relation to securities and banking activities
* Experience in structuring, drafting, and negotiating legal documentation for financing business
* Understanding of standard banking and market standard documents such as ISDA, GMSLA, GMRA, etc.
* Qualification in Japan preferred with 3-5 years' PQE; or a Japanese national with a common law qualification; in-house experience is a plus
* Proven analytical skills, coupled with ability to think critically and apply legal concepts to different fact patterns to arrive at commercially acceptable solutions
