A chemical manufacturer is searching for an individual with experience in an automotive or lubricant field to join them as OEM Liaison Manager.Responsibilities:
* Develop working relationships with key contacts at Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
* Develop projects with OEMs
* Represent the company's interests at lubricant industry meetings; translate segment strategies to focused activities in industry committees
* Develop OEM profiles with clear definitions of objectives and strategy at eatch OEM and establish and maintain files including descriptions of their fluid technology and requirements
* Monitor and report on new developments and industry trends in the lubricants industry; analyse these trends and provide guidance on modifying product segment strategies
Requirements:
* Postgraduate degree or equivalent work experience
* 10+ years' experience in the automotive, hydraulic or lubricant field
* Strong interest in automotive, construction and industrial industry and/or a strong mechanical aptitude
* Experience in sales or technical marketing preferred
* Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills both in Japanese and English
