- An international pharmaceutical group is searching for an experienced market research professional. As a Senior Researcher, you will conduct research and provide insights to support customers of a major global company.

Responsibilities:
* Design and conduct research in an assigned area of responsibility
* Anticipate and identify market research information needs, both collaboratively with internal business partners and proactively based on knowledge of the market and products
* Continuously track the market research market to identify new information and data sources; evaluate their validity and reliability in comparison to sources already available; give recommendations on whether or not these sources might be valuable for the company
* Provide market, customer and competitive insights to support internal customer with recommendations based on desk research and primary market research studies, combing conclusions drawn from several sources
* Supervise, guide and develop co-workers in an assigned area
* Train new members of the department with regard to primary market research and competitive intelligence; develop individual training concepts for new co-workers and implement them
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, life sciences or equivalent experience
* 3+ years' market research, marketing, medical affairs or project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Problem solving and analytical skills; an innovative approach to issues and sound judgment
* An ability to lead and coordinate projects through interdisciplinary groups; an ability to clearly and concisely communicate in both Japanese and in English
