- A widely recognized international brand is seeking an experienced professional with knowledge of SCM to join them as the SCM Manager. In this role, the successful candidate will lead a buying team to strategic success, meeting a variety of business goals.

Responsibilities:
* Manage the buying team (purchase planning or process and system) to plan, execute and communicate to optimize supply chain value that aligns with the company/division's direction
* Lead the team to achieve high performance by fostering a positive team environment; allocate and consolidate effectively, comprehend objectives and performance assessments to keep motivating and developing the team
* Provide the team with clear goals that are aligned with business needs and section objectives
* Suggest a cohesive purchase planning function with clear roles and responsibilities; be a solution provider for the short/medium term
* Find improvement areas in purchase planning and delivery management functions with a clear end-to-end process flow from forecast to purchase order through to delivery
* Execute SCM strategic initiatives based on an agreed priority order
Requirements:
* University degree with a focus on international business administration, finance, SCM, logistics or related data
* 3+ years' team leadership experience
* Procurement/delivery control experience with consumer goods; production/import knowledge
* Knowledge of SCM operation and theories
* Fluent Japanese; business level English
