Responsibilities:
* Ensure the engineering teams deliver world class support to customers at all stages of their engagement with the company, through the provision of coaching, support, and direction to the team leaders
* Create alignment and accountability in all engineering positions by defining a local strategy in alignment with the APAC and global teams
* Influence APAC and global support strategy through regular engagement with global peers
* Build strong relationships with the sales & marketing leadership to establish long-term customer success
* Engage the engineering teams by creating a work environment in which engineering team members commit to the organization and its bottom line
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/computer engineering/computer science, or equivalent experience
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in people management and leading an engineering team
* Proven track record in developing and implementing engineering strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives and providing personal leadership through example
* Pre/post sales experience closely working with customers in filed sales or technical marketing sectors
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- business-level English and native Japanese
