- An experienced accounting professional with both public and private experience is needed at a multinational private energy company. As the Controller, you will oversee the accounting function of the organization and ensure that the company's assets, controls and financial records are maintained.

Responsibilities:
* Ensure that credit risk is balanced with business objectives, that targets are met and that only valid claims with proper management authorization are paid
* Oversee the general accounting function and staff, including inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial report and balance sheet management
* Ensure that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected
* Coordinate and oversee activities related to internal controls documentation/testing and segregation of duties
* Ensure that company financial records are maintained in compliance with company, tax and government policies
Requirements:
* 5-10 years' combined public accounting and private industry accounting experience
* Prior management experience
* Demonstrated ability to form, lead and develop high-performing teams
* Experience analysing business performance and developing financial plans within a manufacturing environment is desirable
* Strong knowledge of budget, internal controls and financial reporting
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
