- Reporting to the Director of the Healthcare Division, the successful candidate who joins this market intelligence company will become part of a global firm and have the opportunity to travel, apply their sales expertise, and showcase their communication skills. Primary responsibilities include meeting sales targets, working closely with the wider team, and providing relevant client feedback and intelligence to the product development and marketing teams.

Responsibilities:
* Achieve and/or exceed quarterly sales revenue targets based on growth of existing subscriptions and new business
* Identify new business and revenue growth opportunities within the client base
* Prepare account plans with short- and long-term revenue goals to leverage the full potential of the company's range of solutions
* Facilitate meetings and deliver relevant, impactful client presentations to senior management
* Prepare high quality proposals and successfully negotiate to win profitable new business and grow renewals
Requirements:
* A proven track record of exceeding sales goals in a related or similar area
* Experience building and managing revenues in excess of $1m within accounts
* Strong commercial acumen coupled with a deep interest in and knowledge of the life sciences area
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong quantitative skills
* Educated to a minimum of degree level; relevant second degree preferred
* 5+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry (or related sector)
* English and Japanese fluency
* A willingness to travel domestically and internationally
