Seeking an experienced candidate with prior work experience at a Japanese manufacturing company ready to make use of their technical communication skills. This role involves reading Japanese manuals, creating CAD models, and using technical English on the job.

Responsibilities:
* Read and understand Japanese manuals for automation systems such as CNC, PLC, and stocking systems
* Create CAD models
* Work with external system integrators to connect external systems to the company's systems
* Provide technical support to customers (travel up to 30% of the year)
* Work with the development team to test products and improve quality
Requirements:
* Excellent Japanese business communication skills (customer-facing)
* Solid technical English communication skills (internal working language)
* Experience with simple mechanical/electrical component design
* Ability to understand English and Japanese datasheets and place orders for electronics and mechanical parts from Japanese/overseas vendors
* Work experience at a Japanese manufacturing company preferred
