- A multinational logistics and supply chain organization is in need of a skilled financial professional. As the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will manage monthly closing, reporting, and audits along with advance preparations and work closely with internal/external auditor and external tax service providers to ensure accurate reporting.

Responsibilities:
* Manage monthly closing, reporting, and audits along with advance preparations, and follow-ups while meeting requirements and deadlines
* Work closely with internal/external auditor and external tax service providers to ensure accurate reporting, well-managed audits, and tax filing
* Effectively manage teams to ensure the smooth operation and quality services provided to other teams
* Work closely with the business system team to ensure appropriate systems are implemented and maintained
* Liaise with overseas offices for intercompany transactions and technical issues
* Review internal control processes and flows, making recommendations for improvements
Requirements:
* Proven work experience as an accounting manager including 8+ years of hands-on accounting experience
* Technical skills and aptitude for overall accounting operations and thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
* Business level written and oral communication, both English and Japanese
* Experience creating financial statements (stand-alone and consolidation)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Finance and accounting qualification preferred but not mandatory, e.g., MBA, CPA, bookkeeping
