1. Follow the company philosophy of defining premium product and outstanding quality
2. Continuous improvement of effectiveness and efficiency of Purchasing
3. Responsible for procurement of goods, commodities and services according to project/product targets
4. Responsible for monitoring, maintenance and administration of the procurement-related data (SAP, various purchasing files)
5. Evaluate, select, maintain and develop suppliers for Asia Pacific
6. Continuously reduce purchasing prices, increase quality of supplied parts and supplier flexibility
7. Control and monitor processes following given targets
8. Conclude contracts with suppliers following given targets
9. Detect improvement potentials and develop correction suggestions
10. Improve innovativeness by detecting relevant supplier innovativeness
11. Project-work and special tasks during SOPs or complex modifications of products
12. Work in awareness of legal and operational regulations for supplier parts

Job requirements Profession / degrees
Professional experiences Necessary special knowledge and skills
: University degree
: Multiple years of professional experience in purchasing in automotive industry
:- Technical knowledge of purchasing incl. procedures, material knowledge, requirements and production methods
- Good knowledge of supplier information
- Project participation knowledge
- Good knowledge of lean manufacturing incl. VE/VA, Kaizen, 5S, and other problem solving and continuous improvement techniques
- Knowledge of ISO/TS16949, ISO14001 including understanding of QM tools such as APQP, FMEA basics, PPAP, SPC basics, MSA basics, VDA6.3
- SAP R/3 knowledge, IMDS knowledge, basic PC skills
- Good command of English (TOEIC score more than 700)
- Basic knowledge of financials
