The main responsibilities are as follows:
Develop standard term commercial contract forms working with US contract team, legal and external counsel
Drafting, review, redline, finalize and archive commercial sales and lease contracts that establish business relationship with customers and/or partners. May include service contracts
Negotiation with customers on contract terms
Keep track of lapse time of contracts
Analyze contracts to ensure compliance with company policy, government regulations, revenue recognition requirements and other requirements
Draft training, proctoring, consulting and other business related agreements
Working closely with Intuitive legal, sales, customer service, accounting and manufacturing teams on the system sales process and service contract process
This position may be engaged in Instrument and accessory sales contracts with customers and/or partners
Conduct profitability analysis on the proposed terms and get required level of approval from finance and management team regarding leasing contracts

The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years working experience in contract execution including drafting, negotiation about end user terms
Working experience in contract management role, with a finance background in a leasing company to evaluate leasing contracts is a plus
Work experience in a multi-national environment is a must
Law-related degree and/or structured finance related degree is preferable
Excellent communication capability in both Japanese and English, both speaking and writing, is imperative
Familiarity with US legal concept
Familiarity with US GAAP, FCPA and Sunshine Act preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
