募集背景
Company has been expanding their business in Asia and registered their legal entity in Japan this year.
They are currently looking for a Business Development Director to help them grow their business.

仕事内容
Drive future growth & expansion efforts
Foster a high-performance culture & lead a team
Play a key role in achieving and surpassing financial goals while enhancing customer relationships
Key leader responsible for formulating and executing strategic plans for the Japan office, driving market growth, expansion, and shaping long-term objectives within the sustainability sector.

Ensure alignment of Japan’s strategies with regional and broader organizational goals, working closely with APAC leadership to harmonize efforts.

Identify and leverage market opportunities to enhance business growth and broaden the organization’s footprint across Japan.

Build and nurture strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, focusing on developing strong business partnerships that drive revenue and market presence.

Maintain strong engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.

Oversee financial performance, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and profitability. This includes optimizing pricing, managing operational costs, and driving sales.

Lead the team by providing strong leadership and fostering a culture of continuous development and excellence.
応募資格
必須
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in STEM, Business, Economics, or Finance.
A minimum of 10 years’ leadership experience, with a strong preference for candidates from corporate banking, finance, or the energy sector.
Proven track record in establishing and growing business relationships with C-suite executives, while managing multiple client accounts across the region.
Extensive leadership experience at the national level, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and build high-performing teams in line with the company's leadership framework.
Fluency in both English and Japanese is required.
Expertise in delivering compelling presentations, with a deep understanding of the commodities market and local cultural dynamics.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong interest in contributing to positive climate initiatives.
A highly motivated team player with exceptional analytical abilities, adaptability, and a positive, proactive approach.
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments is strongly preferred, along with a self-driven mentality and solid work ethic.
