Position Summary :
The Japan Team Accountant will gain a broad and deep understanding of the company’s operations through day-to-day accounting processes, and the knowledge and experience gained in the course of these activities has enabled the company to address the challenges faced by each department. This position will play an internal consulting role in solving the issue from an accounting perspective.
This role with have close proximity to the management team, consulting with them and responding to their requests as well as prepare important documents that influence management decisions, such as board meeting documents.
[ Duties and Responsibilities ]
- Financial Closing operations (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Correspondence to consolidated accounts operations (preparation of packages for consolidated accounts)
- Tax declaration services
- Audit support
- Solving accounting challenges faced by different departments.
- Preparation of financial reports for the Board of Directors and various meeting bodies
- You will be responsible not only for accounting work, but also for handling tax returns.
- As the accounting officer of the largest operating subsidiary, you will work closely with the parent company.
- The position will also have significant impact on the progress of consolidated accounts.

- Experience in preparing financial statements, business reports, and supporting schedules.
- Experience in preparing annual reports, quarterly reports and financial summaries.
- Experience in tax reporting.
- Experience in dealing with accounting audits.
- Highly literate in consolidated accounting systems.
- English Language level: Intermediate Level (Read/Write)

- Working hours are 9:00 to 17:30.
- Flextime available, core time (10:00 to 16:00)
- Work from home is available. The Finance Team mainly works at the office as there are many hard copy documents but on average members work 1-2 times at home per week.
